Meet Karl Brown

Karl Brown - DJ/Disco

By day Karl is a teacher at William Barcroft Junior School in Cleethorpes but once he leaves the chalk face he turns into an all round entertainer. For the last 7 years he has been a member of the singing duo SouthBase, performing all over the country. Karl started to perform at corporate parties and weddings nationwide and quickly built up a reputation for himself. As well as being Impulse's main DJ, appearing at most of the band's events, Karl is also a DJ and presenter on Compass FM, part of the Lincs FM group.

After leaving school Karl secured a degree in drama plus of course his teaching qualification. His interest in the theatre continues through his staunch support of the Louth Playgoers Theatre where his roles have included The MC in Cabaret, Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Seymour in The Little Shop of Horrors and most recently as Widow Twankey in the pantomime Aladdin.
