We have brought together some of the finest professional session musicians, stunning vocalists and a world-class brass section to create the Impulse function band. We are focused on delivering outstanding live music and entertainment for your wedding, corporate event or other special occasion.

If you are looking to make your event extra special, ask about our options such as our disco package. Our Impulse DJ will play music for your guests while the band take a short break. Dinner jazz is available for when your guests arrive or as background music while you eat. We can also arrange hire of solo pianists, harpists and string quartets.

Meet our new sax player, Emma!

Meet our new tenor saxophonist, Emma Frampton.

Based in London, Emma is a professional musician specialising in all saxophones as well as doubling on flute and clarinet. After growing up in the North East and establishing a love for music from a very early age, Emma moved to Leeds and studied the Saxophone at Leeds College of Music where in 2003 she gained a BA (Hons) in Jazz Studies.

Since graduating from Leeds College, Emma has established herself as a professional musician working throughout the UK. Most recently, she has been performing on a world tour with The Ting Tings.

Emma is the newest member of the Impulse horn section and comes with our 8 piece band option.
